Assistant Interactive Content Manager – Greater Media New Jersey

Greater Media New Jersey is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Interactive Content Manager in the Interactive Department at Greater Media New Jersey.

This is an entry level regional position with responsibilities for our six radio station and multiple pure play web sites and includes updating and maintaining content, assist with website graphics and design, assist with editing and producing web pages, managing social network content and the editing and producing of video projects. Because this is a regional position, traveling each week to our three markets will be required.  (Markets include:  Cedar Knolls, Somerset, Belmar, and Manahawkin)

Due to emerging technology the role and/or description of the duties of this job may change.

Interested individuals should have:

• Degree in a related field
• Mastery of website functionality and usability
• Ability to write and edit web copy
• Strong understanding of social content sites such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, You Tube and Hootsuite.
• Working proficiency with Photo Shop and HTML/CSS required
• Experience with  iMovie, Final Cut, or other video editing software required
• Experience in Web Design and Web Graphic Design with a good understanding of graphic composition and layout
• Be highly organized, enthusiastic and creative.
• Prior experience with a content management system a plus (Drupal, Dotnetnuke, Word Press, etc.)
• Experience with Flash, jQuery, Javascript, mobile web design are a plus
