4/15/2013 Adopt: Sally Sally is a three year old female boxer. She came to the shelter as a stray. She was very skinny, but has gained over seven pounds in one week with us. 4/8/2013 Adopt: Iggy Iggy is a six month old male dachshund mix. He was transferred here from Puerto Rico. He can entertain himself with balls and toys. He kicks a tennis ball around like a soccer ball, and throws it in the air. He walks nicely on leash, and knows sit, down, stay and come. Iggy keeps himself busy, but will relax with you at the end of a long day. He is neutered and up to date on all his shots. 3/24/2013 Adopt: Bear Bear is a greater swiss mountain dog mix, between one and two years old. He came to us as a stray. He is very playful and happy, and will require lots of exercise. He will benefit from an obedience class. He is very strong, so this dog is not for the weary. He would be a good match for an energetic owner, maybe one who hikes and loves to be outdoors. Bear does get along with other dogs, but we are unsure of his feelings towards children, although his energy level would definitely be too much for small kids. 3/17/2013 Adopt: CJ CJ is a twelve year old dachshund. He has a sad story. His owner passed away and a family member tried to take him in, but he didn’t get along with the children. We know it takes a special person to adopt a senior pet, but cj will make a great companion, as this little guy still has a good amount of spunk still in him. Because of his age, CJ may never be housebroken, but we are looking for an extra special person who has room for this sweetheart in their family. CJ is neutered and up to date on all his shots. 3/11/2013 Adopt: Cara Cara is a female pit bull mix, one and a half years old. She was surrendered to the shelter due to her not adjusting in the house she was at. 2/18/2013 Adopt: Lucia Lucia is an eleven month old female. She originally transferred from a southern shelter due to overcrowding and was adopted at our freehold adoption center. Unfortunately, her family decided they no longer had time for her and returned her to the shelter. She is very sweet and loving, with people and other dogs. 2/11/2013 Adopt: Whitey Whitey is a four year old male domestic short hair. He is a wonderful guy that came to us from an overcrowded shelter. he is very friendly, easygoing and affectionate and would make a great family pet.
